A Corpus Christi Walmart posted a photo of an employee in front of Little Debbie's display. But people weren't looking at the ice cream.

A Walmart employee in Corpus Christi brought the heat to the store's freezer section in a Facebook post that has gotten a lot of attention from admirers.

Last week, a Corpus Christi location posted a photo of the employee, whose name is Jose based on his Walmart work badge, standing in front of a freezer holding two pint-sized containers of Little Debbie's ice cream. The store was promoting the return of the cold treat.

However, people seemed to be more interested in the employee holding the ice cream.

“Took me a moment to realize he was holding ice cream,” one person said in the comment section of the post. “By moment, I meant a good 20 minutes.”

Another person added: “The way he’s gently holding that ice cream I know my honey buns would be safe in his hands.”

GOING VIRAL: This Texas-based salsa that went viral on Twitter is sold at H-E-B, and it's Hispanic-owned.

Little Debbie's ice cream recently announced that it was launching seven exclusive flavors at Walmarts nationwide.

Jose is holding two of those flavors: a pint of “Cosmic Brownie” and “Zebra Cake” ice cream.

Jose is wearing a backward baseball cap and a popped collar under his Walmart vest. He’s also sporting a light beard and the kind of look you’d give someone standing across the bar.

The photo of Jose’s “delicious” looks have been shared more than 21,000 times, with posts reaching as far away as Hawaii.

“Even the wives pages of Schofield Barracks in Hawaii were talking about him,” someone wrote on Facebook.

Still, not everyone was consumed with Jose. Some people just liked the sweet treats he was holding.

“I think I need to re-examine my priorities, because the first thing I noticed was the ice cream,” one commenter said.

Another said: “Can y’all stop harassing this poor man.”
