After seven people from different households complained of illness, inspectors from the Department of Public Health and Social Services shut down Flamingo Restaurant in Hagåtña.

The June 7 inspection report said diners “experienced foodborne illness symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea after eating at the establishment. Food handling and storage issues, unsanitary condition and cockroach infestation that may cause foodborne illness were observed at the time of inspection.”

Among the observations from inspectors:
