Slurpee lovers have a chance to score a major deal this weekend as 7-Eleven has announced the return of its “Bring Your Own Cup Day” on Saturday, Aug. 27. The deal allows customers to bring in any cup of their own and fill it up for $1.99, no matter how larger the cup is.

There are a few requirements that Slurpee fans must meet in order to take advantage of the promotion, but not to worry, you’ll easily be able to enjoy for frozen treat for pretty cheap.

The promotion is available at participating 7‑Eleven, Stripes and Speedway locations across the U.S. Customers must be members of either the 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards programs at 7-Eleven and Speedway locations. Both programs are free to join and you can sign up on site.

As far as the cup requirements goes, containers must be clean when you bring them into the store. It must also be a watertight container that does not allow for leaks. Finally, and most importantly, the cup must fit within the 10-inch diameter hole in the in-store display.

If it doesn’t fit in that display, it won’t fit under the Slurpee machine and therefore, cannot be used in the promotion. So while it would be nice to fill up an insulated lunch cooler with nothing but Slurpee, you’ll have to settle for filling your largest to-go coffee mug or get creative and find a fishbowl that qualifies.

“We know that Slurpee drinks are a summertime staple for customers, so we’re bringing back BYOC Day to celebrate the popular frozen beverage for a second time this summer following a very successful Slurpee Day,” said Dennis Phelps, 7‑Eleven Proprietary Beverages Senior Product Director. “We want customers to build the Slurpee drink of their dreams while having fun with their vessel of choice – and we can’t wait to see some of the creative cups they come up with.”
